discontinued as New Technology has been introduced.

are 2 different Models the "All Floors",

When you buy a machine in a particular series, regardless of the
name of it, the vacuum is basically the same. The difference between
say a Dyson DC25 "Animal" and a
Dyson DC25 "All Floors" unit, is the accessories
that are included and the color of the vacuum. (The
All Floors is yellow and comes
with the standard on board accessories while
Animal vacuum is purple and comes
with extra accessories. Other than that they are virtually identical
vacuums.
Dyson DC07
Series
- Dyson DC07
- The Dyson DC07 was the oldest model in the Dyson line. It
has been discontinued and replaced by the Dyson DC14
Series.
The DC07 Series was the original Dyson introduced in the U.S. It
was a belt driven
system designed for any type of carpeting or hard floor surface.
Dyson DC14
Series
Dyson DC14
- The Dyson DC14 model is the next step up in the series. It
comes in the
Animal version. The DC14 has
one motor for both suction and the belt driven beater bar. The DC14 has a wide channel to pick up larger pieces
that other vacuums leave behind.
The DC14 Series is very similar to the DC07 Series as it is
also a belt driven system. It has all the features of the DC07 Series with the
following enhancements. The DC14 Series has 50% more Cyclonic Power than the
DC07 making it more efficient. It has a wider Front Channel to pick up larger
debris, a Telescopic Wand that does not have to be reversed to use the cleaning
attachments, a larger Handle for easier maneuverability, as well as the
pre-filter being mounted on the top for easier cleaning. They are approved for
Allergy Sufferers by the British Allergy Foundation and come with a 5 Year
Manufacturers Warranty.

one model the Absolute
Animal. This series like the DC25 has a direct drive
motorized brushbar to improve pick-up on carpets. The brushbar on the DC17 is more aggressive
than any other Dyson leading to better carpet cleaning especially
for pet hair. The DC17 is the only Dyson Upright to have Level 3 Root
Cyclone. This advanced cyclone technology provides an extra stage to
clean the air even better. The Dyson DC17 currently only comes in
the Animal version.
The DC17 Series machine is similar to the DC14 Series
except it adds the direct drive
motorized brush bar and level 3 root cyclone technology. The DC17 series direct drive motorized

- The Dyson DC18 Series has been discontinued.
The DC18 Series was the original Lightweight Dyson introduced in the U.S.
but it was replaced by the DC24 Series.
DC24 Series
The DC24 series is a light weight machine
that uses the "the Ball" technology and the 2-Motor Belt
Driven System. The DC24 uses a belt to drive the brushbar and comes with a
washable HEPA. The DC24 has a handle
that compresses for easy storage in tight spaces, comes with a reversible wand
that extends for stair and high reach cleaning instead of a telescopic wand, has
a smaller bin capacity and less suction than the full size machines. Otherwise
the DC24 has all the basic features of the other series. We recommend this model
for apartments, smaller homes, people who require a light weight machine to
carry or push around or as a second machine. The DC24
would be ideal as a secondary unit instead of carrying a full size machine up
and down different floors in your home.
